 Ellen Batton GordonEllen Batton Gordon was born c. 1849 in Northern Ireland. She married James Gordon in Saintfield, County Down in 1867. Children Elizabeth, Robert James, Susanna and William were born in County Down; Alexander, Robert George, James, & Ellen were born in Ayrshire, Scotland. Ellen died in Dunfermline, Scotland in 1891. John BattonJohn Batton was born in Northern Ireland in 1852. He married Jessie Steel in Galston, Scotland in 1873. They had four children in Scotland: George, James, Samuel, & Agnes. Andrew BattonAndrew Batton was born in Northern Ireland in 1856. He married Lillias McGregor in Dalserf, Lanarkshire in 1877. They had ten Galston-born children: Elizabeth, George, Peter, Helen, Andrew, Susan, Alexander, Jeanie, John, & Robert. George Batton (Paton)George Batton was born in 1861 in Northern Ireland. He married Maggie Eadie in 1888 in Cambuslang, Scotland; she died a year later. He married for a second time in 1891 to Janet Fyfe in Cambuslang. They had four (perhaps more) children: Sara, George, Samuel & Elizabeth. Janet died in 1915.
